Amy Berry is the CEO of the Tahoe Fund, a nonprofit that works with the private community to ensure more environmental improvement projects are completed around Lake Tahoe. Since its founding in 2010, the organization has supported 18 different projects, including watershed restorations, bike paths, removal of aquatic invasive species and new stewardship programs. Under Amy’s leadership, the Tahoe Fund worked with five other organizations to launch a campaign called Take Care that aims to improve general stewardship of the region by poking fun of the simple mistakes we all make when we aren’t paying attention. It is the greatest example of collaboration in the Tahoe Region, with more than 50 partners across the public and private sectors joining on to use the messaging in their outreach efforts.
Amy will represent Tahoe Fund at the SHIFT Summit’s Marketplace on Friday, Oct. 14 at 1:45 p.m.
Tickets for the SHIFT Summit may be purchased here.
