Josie Norris is the Program Manager at The Conservation Alliance, a non-profit that engages businesses to fund and partner with organizations to protect wild places for their habitat and recreation values. She manages the grant program and communications, and supports the organization’s advocacy efforts. Prior to working at The Conservation Alliance, she spent ten years working for environmentally responsible brands in the Outdoor Industry, including Patagonia and Nau. For the last eight years, her work has been focused on building relationships between for-profit companies and non-profit organisations working to create positive change. She loves looking at maps, trail running, traveling and visiting Black Rock City.
Josie will speak on the panel ‘Public Lands, Urban America‘ on Saturday, October 15 at 10:00 AM as part of the 2016 SHIFT Summit.
