Those races turned into larger, year round events and David partnered up with the Crested Butte Mayor, Aaron Huckstep, to start Elk Mountain Events.
David has been a dedicated member of the community and has put countless hours into providing visitor, tourist, and lifestyle amenities to Crested Butte and the Gunnison Valley. David started with the Chamber of Commerce in July of this year, and has transitioned nicely being already engaged with the community. David strives to bring economic prosperity and value to the community by utilizing the natural resources and surroundings to bring visitors and events to Crested Butte.
David is married to Missy Ochs and is the proud Father of two Children, Osmund (Ozzy – 3 years old) and Cadence (Cady – 1 year old).
