1891058_10203102971917034_1449340996_nGeorgie earned a BA in anthropology from Brown University and then moved to Lander, Wyoming to work as an outdoor educator for NOLS. She later became a mountain guide. After years of traveling, climbing and guiding, she has settled down in Victor. She looks forward to raising her two beautiful children and tending her organic market garden. She lives in her unique, family-built strawbale/timberframe house off the grid. Georgie hopes Teton County can incorporate innovative tools so that as her community grows, the integrity of its landscape, its community and its economy will be not be sacrificed.

About Snowdrift Farms (Victor, ID): Snowdrift Farms was a seed in the minds of Georgie Stanley and her friends Sue Miller and Greg Collins when they walked
Snowdrift’s  original 20 acres together in Teton Valley in 1999. Georgie started a small vegetable garden the next summer while also playing a hand in the early development of the Teton Valley Farmers Market in Driggs. The first year, Georgie went to market with a cooler full of freshly cut salad greens to sell. Our produce selection and quantity have expanded every year since, while we have retained our original ideas of providing the best quality food to our community.
