Jacki Klancher is a full time faculty member in the the field of Environmental Health at Central Wyoming College. She has been teaching, leading and traveling in wilderness environments for more than two decades and cites inspiring and educating students as two of her primary passions. This past year she found an avenue to combine backcountry travel, student research, and applications for geospatial technology into one adventure-filled package through the Community College Undergraduate Research Initiative. This melding culminated in ICCE – the Interdisciplinary Climate Change Expedition to the Dinwoody Glacier.
Jacki has been teaching full time at Central Wyoming College for five years. Her undergraduate degree (BS) was in Geography at University of Calgary, MS in Biology from Saint Joseph University in West Hartford.
While not teaching in the classroom or in the field, Jacki can be found endurance cycling and skate skiing.
