Leigh Robertson

Leigh photo head shotLeigh Robertson is originally a Jersey girl, who also lived in Ohio, Minnesota, and Montana before settling in her favorite state—Colorado. Leigh has worked for the U.S. Forest Service, The Nature Conservancy, at a deli, and for a brilliant nutritionist. In a fit of insanity, she penned Southern Rocky Mountain Wildflowers. Currently, she’s the coordinator for the San Miguel Basin Gunnison Sage-grouse Working Group and the Grantwriter, Education & Outreach Coordinator for the Western Colorado Landscape Collaborative. She both appreciates the many benefits of collaboration and at other times could tear her hair out with frustration. When she’s done trying to save the planet, you might find Leigh hiking, contorting her body into various yoga poses, cross-country skiing or watching Big Bang Theory. She lives in Ridgway with her scruffy gray cat, M.K.
