Todd Wilkinson

Photo_of_Todd_at_Armendaris-1Since starting as a violent crime reporter with the legendary City News Bureau of Chicago, Todd Wilkinson has been writing about the environment, politics, culture and the arts for most of the last 30 years.  Stories have taken him around the world. Most recently, he authored the critically-acclaimed biography “Last Stand: Ted Turner’s Quest to Save a Troubled Planet” that was distributed to every member of Congress and ambassador to the United Nations from every country on earth.  Locally, he has penned a column for the Jackson Hole News & Guide for a quarter century. Over the years, his work has appeared in two dozen different magazines and newspapers, ranging from The Wall Street Journal and U.S. News and World Report to the Christian Science Monitor and Audubon.  He is author of several books, including Science Under Siege: The Politicians’ War on Nature and Truth. An avid outdoor recreationist, he lives in Bozeman.

Mr. Wilkinson will participate in the Roundtable on Land Conservation, Wilderness Advocacy & Human-Powered Outdoor Recreation.
