Guiding questions for the working time:

  • If you are already in the campaign stage, how will you refine your current efforts based on what you heard and learned here today?
  • What is your case (demonstration of need) for this sort of position or office?
  • What are your tactics for implementation – legislative or executive action? Why? Both offer hurdles, as well as unique benefits
  • If you are in a state that already has an office like this, how will you change your working relationship with that office?
  • How are your key allies in this advocacy work? How will you reach out to those you don’t already know?

11:30: Report Out

Each team will report back on the key points of their action plan for creating offices in their respective states.
