Grace Anderson

Grace manages the Inspiring Connections Outdoors Program (ICO) at the Sierra Club. ICO’s mission is to connect communities with limited access to the outdoors.

After discovering the awe of nature on a college spring break trip with the Student Conservation Association to Joshua Tree National Park, Grace was hooked. Since then she’s been chasing wide-open spaces, roaming through place such as Patagonia, the Yukon Territories, Wyoming, and is currently calling Oakland, California home. Prior to the Sierra Club, Grace worked in the field instructing 2-24 days courses and in an administrative capacity for organizations such as NOLS, GirlVentures and Conservacion Patagonica.

Grace will speak at the panel ‘Outdoor Recreation and Cultural Relevancy‘ on Friday, October 14 at 10:30 AM as part of the SHIFT Summit.

Tickets for the 2016 SHIFT Festival can be purchased here.
