Kayje Booker

Kayje is the Public Lands Program Manager at Montana Wilderness Association, where she leads the efforts to keep public lands public, move proactive state-level public lands policy, and build civic engagement among supporters of public lands. Before joining MWA, Kayje was Executive Director of Forward Montana, an organization to train, mobilize, and elect the next generation of leaders, and prior to that, she received her PhD from Berkeley in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management. Kayje is an avid hiker, backpacker, and slow-motion trail runner.

Kay will represent Montana Wilderness Association at the SHIFT Summit’s Marketplace on Friday, Oct. 14 at 1:45 p.m.
