Media and Cultural Sensitivity Orientation

N.B.: The Media and Cultural Sensitivity Orientation takes the place of Take Your Shoes Off, which was previously planned for this time slot. RSVPs for Take Your Shoes Off will be honored for this training.

Utah Diné Bikéyah’s “Messaging Training for Environmental Allies working with Tribes on Bears Ears” is an invaluable way to improve advocacy and improve work with tribal allies when it comes to Bears Ears National Monument. Join Alastair Lee Bitsóí, communications director for Utah Diné Bikéyah, as he presents a media and cultural sensitivity orientation about how communicate about these lands and help Tribes working to protect cultural resources and sacred sites.

Space is limited to 30 participants. To reserve your spot, RSVP here.

The program will be held immediately behind (north of) Snow King Resort Hotel. Gather at Hayden’s Post at 12 to order lunch before proceeding to the site location.
