Alastair Bitsoi

Alastair Lee Bitsóí, MPH, is the Communications Director at Utah Diné Bikéyah, a Native American-led grassroots nonprofit organization working to promote healing of people and the earth through conservation of cultural lands. In addition to working as a newspaper reporter, Alastair has worked as a Health Communications Specialist with Kauffman and Associates in Washington, DC; an EPI Services Intern in the Bureau of Epidemiology Services’ Data Communications Unit with the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene; and a Teaching Assistant for Health Policy and Management in the College of Global Public Health at New York University.

He received his Masters Degree in Public Health from New York University and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice from Gonzaga University.
