Forest Therapy with Amos Clifford

Amos Clifford

Forest Therapy is a research-based framework for supporting healing and wellness through immersion in forests and other natural environments. Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, which translates to “forest bathing,” and developed under the leadership of M. Amos Clifford, Founder of The Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides, Forest Therapy provides a wide array of health benefits, especially in the cardiovascular and immune systems, stabilizing and improving mood and cognition.

Join Amos for a hands-on exploration of the benefits of Forest Therapy, and discover what happens when people remember that we are a part of nature, not separate from it, and are related to all other beings in fundamental ways.

The event will be held on Friday, Oct. 18, from 2-4 p.m. at the Snow King Resort Hotel. It is free and open to the public.
