Welcoming Remarks

Len Necefer, PhD, Board Chair of The Center for Jackson Hole, will open The 2019 SHIFT Festival with a welcome and Land Acknowledgement. Christian Beckwith, The Center’s Executive Director, will introduce the 2019 SHIFT Festival theme, “Nature as Medicine: The Business Case,” the sub-themes and objectives for the event. Center for Jackson Hole Board Member Mickey Fearn will place the event within the broader context of outdoor recreation, conservation and public health.
