The 2020 SHIFT Festival, which will be held Oct. 14-16 in Jackson, WY, will advance the economic and practical applications of nature as a social determinant of health.
As part of the gathering, a poster session will showcase basic and applied research that examines the effects of nature contact, outdoor recreation, and time outside on the mind and body.
Led by Dr. Aruni Bhatnagar, Director of The Envirome Insitute at the University of Louisville, and Dr. Terry Horton, Associate Professor of Research in the Department of Anthropology at Northwestern University, the “Evidence for Action” (E4A) Steering Committee will evaluate and select abstracts for the poster session.
The authors of accepted abstracts will be notified of acceptance by September 1, 2020, and invited to participate in the 2020 SHIFT Festival.
We welcome abstracts that contribute to the evidence base. Submissions may be made here. The deadline for submissions is May 15.
