Deep Bird Language requires slowing down and truly listening to the birds. For the vast majority of human existence, this was a skill we could not afford to ignore. Once critical to our survival, it is now nearly gone.
Presented by National Audubon Society, in conjunction with the Teton Raptor Center, this workshop features tracker, naturalist, and birder Dan Gardoqui (a video of Mr. Gardoqui’s bird language skills may be found here). The workshop will offer participants a glimpse of the world of Deep Bird Language, including tips on how to “re-awaken” this hardwired skill set of awareness.
Cost is free for All-Festival Pass and SHIFT Summit Pass holders, and $50 for the public. Tickets for this and all other SHIFT events may be purchased here.
Space is limited to 30 participants and allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. To reserve your spot, RSVP here.
The program will be held at The Visitors’ Center, 532 North Cache, Jackson, WY 83001.
