Erica Timko Olson, PhD, RN is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, School of Nursing. She completed her BS in Nursing from the College of St. Benedict, her MS in Nursing, with a concentration in Spirituality in Healing, from the University of Minnesota, and her PhD in Nursing from the University of Arizona. She is an Integrative Nurse Faculty Fellow and has been a professor for over twenty years. Dr. Timko Olson has taught across all levels of the nursing curriculum, ADN, BS, MS, DNP and PhD, at both private and public institutions. She has a particular interest in the incorporation of self-care and Integrative Nursing within nursing curriculum and has an appointment with the Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality and Healing at the University of Minnesota. Her research is focused on spirituality, resilience and anxiety of nursing students as well as nature based therapies to improve overall wellness.
