Ken Rose, MPA

Ken Rose is the Acting Chief for CDC’s Physical Activity and Health Branch in the Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity and Obesity.  He is an expert in strategies to promote active living environments through CDC programs and directs CDC’s Active People, Healthy NationSM, Creating an Active America, Together where he works with a wide range of national partners to help implement this initiative.  He has also been a key contributor to CDC’s Transportation and Health Recommendations and the Surgeon General’s Call to Action to promote Walking and Walkable Communities.  He has also served as the Associate Director of Policy for CDC’s environmental health programs and as the CDC Deputy Chief of Staff.
