Vasu Sojitra is one of the founding coordinators for Earthtone Outside (EOMT). He and the passionate EOMT team are working to advocate for the visibility of people of color within Montana and to #DiversifyBigSky. Originally from Connecticut, and born to parents that immigrated from India, he has develop an unorthodox passion primarily for skiing as well as for mountain sports ranging from trail running to packrafting and everything in between. Not only is Vasu advocating for people of color through his work with EOMT, he is also working towards bringing the voice of people with disabilities to the table. This fire started when Vasu was nine months old. He was diagnosed with septicemia, which resulted in the amputation of his right leg. Since then he has continued to change the stigma that goes with being a person with a disability. That fire has grown and now he is the Adaptive Sports Program Director for Eagle Mount Bozeman and the first adaptive athlete for The North Face.
