Lockhart Ranch and Cattle Co.
Lockhart Cattle Co. is a locally owned and operated cattle ranch whose main focus is to provide healthy, grass-fed beef to the surrounding community. In a world of industrialized beef, Lockhart Cattle Co. is unique in that all the Lockhart cattle are bred, born, raised and slaughtered in Teton county – they never leave county limits! Lockhart Cattle Co. also raises all of their winter feed (hay) on local fields.
Grass fed beef-takes considerably longer to raise than grain-fed beef simply due to the protein content of the feed being lower. Therefore, Lockhart Cattle Co. must take more time to raise their animals. As a result, Lockhart Cattle Co. runs both a mother cow operation and a “stocker” operations.
Get an up-close and personal view of this amazing, local operation through a guided tour of the ranch led by Chase Lockhart!
